(note: same description for all Louvre shots)
Just like many famous places, the Louvre is just another place where you can't use a tripod if you don't have a written permission (I wonder WHERE these permissions are given and what is the cost for them...).
Well, since I promised not to visit the famous museum to my girlfriend (and it wasn't really something to struggle about, since I'm not so crazy about huge museums in limited amount of time) I had my chance to take some "common" photos of it from the outside while Luigi was visiting it.
[The Photograph]
Location: Musée du Louvre, Paris
Yet another shot of the Louvre at high iso. I tried to catch the shapes of the people who were walking around, and the slow shutter speed made them look like shades... tasty effect! I took about a dozen of shots from this spot, and this is probably my favourite. I'm still wondering why his body was recorded by the sensor and not his head... maybe he was moving it while I was shooting, I don't really know...
[Postwork]
Raw processed in lightroom, noise reduction (kept low to save details) in Neat Image.
Anyway, I love the perspective, it's wonderful. From your photos I get that you moved all around the plaza trying to get the best angles, that's great.
